Training & development

We invest in every member of our team and encourage everyone to improve their skills and knowledge in care, with plenty of opportunities to achieve vocational qualifications like Diplomas in Health & Social Care, to support you in your role

We also make sure everyone has regular supervision and appraisals. We use these to work together and identify your personal goals and aims. Then we create a personal development plan to get you there.

Working hours

One of the great things about a career in care with Radfield is that it can offer you real flexibility.

Being a Care Professional is a role that can grow and develop as you and your family do. It doesn’t have to be a 9 to 5 and many of our team like the fact that hours can be arranged to work with other commitments.

In fact, you can even start off working just a few hours a week, or evenings only and then add in hours overtime.

Care is our specialty

Our Care Professionals work with older people who still live at home and often need just a small amount of support. From taking them out and about to doing the weekly shop, medication support to personal and dementia care, it’s all similar to what you’d expect to provide for your own family and loved ones.

It’s a really special role you play. The people you support rely heavily on the care and assistance that you provide, as do their families and friends. For some older people living at home yours will be the only face that they see that day.
